Responsibilities
- Foster an motivating work culture and environment for your engineers to be successful
- You'll develop a healthy and collaborative environment across teams.
- You'll ensure your team delivers high quality & on-time products.
- Contribute towards the continuous improvement of process and the team
- Drive system architecture discussions to identify a suitable quality solution to the business requirement.
- Participate in the hiring process to ensure company culture is grown
- Ability to estimate, schedule and lead multiple concurrent projects.
- Your direct reports will be software engineers.
- Hold weekly 1:1s with your direct reports
Requirements / Skills
- 7+ years of experience, 3+ in technical leadership.
- Min. 3 years of hands-on development experience in Node Js, Express.js, MongoDB.
- Min. 2 years of experience in Angular Js or React Js or Vue js
- Hands-on technologist with experience in Node.js, Express.js, Javascript/Typescript, SQL/MongoDB, Micro-services, REST APIs, ORM, AWS
- Solid team management experience and experience in growing people and engineering teams and possess a can-do attitude.
- Ability to manage global stakeholders, and work in a fast paced and often ambiguous environment.
- Customer focus mindset with problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management, resource management and planning skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e. g. computer science, engineering).
